After their car breaks down, a group of young travelers ends up at a remote roadside museum filled with eerily lifelike mannequins and overseen by Chuck Connors's Mr. Slausen, a genial proprietor with an unsettling air. As the stranded friends search for help, the attraction turns into a maze of dusty rooms, moving figures, and sudden violence. Jocelyn Jones and Tanya Roberts are among the visitors as a masked assailant closes in, while a telekinetic force seems to animate the museum's figures and scattered objects.
