CrimeDramaThriller109 min
Fresh out of prison and renovating an apartment in a Chicago building, Gina Gershon is Corky, a tough ex-con trying to keep her head down. Next door lives Violet, Jennifer Tilly’s restless gun moll, along with Caesar (Joe Pantoliano), her volatile mobster boyfriend. What starts as mutual attraction between the two women quickly turns into a dangerous plan: steal $2 million in Mafia cash and make Caesar take the fall. The Wachowskis build the setup around cramped apartments, double-crosses, and the pressure of staying one step ahead of a suspicious man with a gun and a short fuse.
