ActionAdventureAnimationAnimeComedyFantasy128 min
Fifteen hundred years after the war of gods, heaven has fallen into decline, and Yang Jian, once the mighty God of Erlang, now gets by as a bounty hunter. A job from a mysterious woman sends him after a young fugitive who turns out to be his own nephew, Chenxiang, a boy searching for the lotus lantern that could free his imprisoned mother and upset the balance between worlds. Su Ling Chan and David Chen are among the voice cast in this animated fantasy, where old grudges, family ties, and divine history close in as Yang Jian is forced to confront the past he helped create.
