Wake Island

ActionAdventureDramaWar88 min

On remote Wake Island, a small U.S. military garrison is cut off in the Pacific just as the attack on Pearl Harbor throws the region into war. What begins as an isolated posting turns into a siege as Japanese forces move in and the men must hold their ground with limited supplies, dwindling options, and no clear rescue in sight. The film follows the island’s defenders through bombardment, repeated assaults, and the strain of waiting for help that may not come. With officers and enlisted men forced into the same desperate fight, figures played by Brian Donlevy and Robert Preston become part of a last stand built on endurance and defiance.
