After a mysterious global blackout and a freak bus accident, struggling seaside musician Jack Malik wakes up to an impossible change: he’s the only person on Earth who remembers the Beatles. Himesh Patel is Jack, suddenly armed with a catalog of songs no one else has ever heard, while Lily James’s Ellie is the childhood friend still cheering him on from home. As his performances turn into sudden fame, Jack is pulled between a career built on borrowed classics and the life he had before, with Kate McKinnon turning up the pressure as his sharp-edged American agent, Debra.
