Self Reliance
ComedyThriller91 min
A middle-aged man’s routine is upended when a celebrity recruiter (Andy Samberg) offers him $1 million to survive a 30-day hunt where assassins can only strike if he’s completely alone. Jake Johnson is the increasingly rattled contestant, convinced he’s found a loophole until friends and family dismiss the game as delusion. To stay alive, he starts piecing together company wherever he can, turning a death-match setup into a scramble for witnesses, allies, and anyone willing to stick around. Anna Kendrick and Natalie Morales are part of the offbeat circle he draws into the mess.
