Just Friends
ComedyRomance96 min
Back in his hometown for Christmas, a successful recording executive comes face to face with the high school crush who rejected him and the best-friend history he never really got over. Ryan Reynolds is the former outsider, now polished and cocky, trying to turn an old humiliation into a second chance, while Amy Smart's longtime friend remains the person he can't quite charm or outmaneuver. The holiday return brings family pressure, old classmates, and plenty of unresolved baggage, with the movie building its comedy around teenage memories, public embarrassment, and the stubborn gap between who someone was in high school and who they think they’ve become.
