The Burning

After a prank leaves a summer-camp caretaker horribly burned, he returns years later from the hospital and heads back to the woods where it happened, looking for the youths responsible. At the nearby camp, Brian Matthews and Leah Ayres are among the counselors and campers caught up in the panic as old violence resurfaces. Campfire gatherings, cabins, and isolated trails give the story its shape as the killer closes in on the place he once called home and the summer routine gives way to a revenge-fueled body count.
