When his girlfriend winds up in Toronto under the influence of lecherous music producer Lenny Swackhammer, successful young West Coast guy Nick drops his comfortable routine and heads across Canada to intervene. His friends Tyler and Dime turn the mission into a full-on road trip, piling on detours, hookups, and the kind of trouble that comes with chasing a relationship from one side of the country to the other. Christopher Jacot is at the center of Nick's cross-country scramble, with Joanne Kelly and Shawn Roberts among the key faces along the way, in a story that folds in MuchMusic-era Canadian pop culture and music-scene cameos.
