Finding Bliss
ComedyRomance96 min
Fresh out of film school and newly arrived in Los Angeles, Leelee Sobieski is Jody Balaban, an aspiring director whose only industry job is editing adult movies for a porn company. Determined to make something of her own, Jody starts using the studio’s equipment and sets after hours, shooting her secret project at night while trying to keep her day job and her ambitions from colliding. Kristen Johnston’s Irene Fox runs the operation with hard-nosed practicality, while Matthew Davis’s Jeff Drake, a porn director with his own stalled film dreams, complicates Jody’s plans as work and attraction begin to overlap.
