I Care a Lot
ComedyCrimeDramaThriller119 min
Marla uses the courts to prey on older people, winning legal guardianship, cutting clients off from their homes and families, and selling off their assets for profit. Rosamund Pike is the cool, sharply controlled face of the scam, turning paperwork, care facilities, and polite language into weapons. When Marla targets a wealthy woman who seems like an ideal mark, the case points back to a dangerous underworld figure. Peter Dinklage enters the standoff from the other side of her operation, as a system Marla knows how to game starts pushing back.
