Creepshow

ComedyFantasyHorror120 min

Five grisly stories unfold like panels from a 1950s horror comic: a murdered father returns from the grave for Father’s Day, a bizarre meteor leaves a farm overtaken by strange growth, a jealous husband buries two lovers up to their necks, a crate hides something hungry, and a lonely millionaire finds his apartment overrun by cockroaches. Stephen King wrote the screenplay, and George A. Romero leans into lurid color, practical gore, and comic-book transitions. King himself turns up on screen, with Hal Holbrook among the anthology’s familiar faces.
