After a job goes wrong, Irish hit men Ray and Ken are sent to lie low in Bruges, Belgium, where the church towers, cobbled streets, and tourist crowds give them too much time to revisit what happened. Colin Farrell's Ray is young, restless, and fraying at the edges; Brendan Gleeson's Ken is older, steadier, and tasked with keeping him in line while they wait for instructions. When their boss Harry (Ralph Fiennes) finally calls with the next step, the uneasy pause in a medieval city starts closing in on both of them.
