The Wizard
ActionAdventureComedyDramaFamilyRomance100 min
Corey (Fred Savage) runs away with his younger brother Jimmy, a withdrawn kid with an uncanny gift for video games, and heads west toward a major championship in California. Hitching rides across the country, the brothers join up with Haley (Jenny Lewis), a resourceful girl who spots Jimmy’s talent and tags along for the trip. Beau Bridges and Christian Slater are among the adults trying to catch up as the road to Los Angeles turns into a family escape wrapped in late-’80s arcade culture, motel stops, and the growing sense that Jimmy might be headed for something much bigger than a high score.
