Borg vs. McEnroe
Drama108 min
At the 1980 Wimbledon Championships, reigning champion Björn Borg meets the one rival built to unsettle him: John McEnroe, the brash American star rising fast through the tennis world. Sverrir Gudnason is Borg, guarded and tightly controlled under the pressure of staying on top; across the net, Shia LaBeouf's McEnroe is all volatility, arguments, and shot-making. Framed around the buildup to their showdown, the film follows a sports rivalry that turns every practice, press appearance, and match into part of the contest.
