Panda! Go Panda!

The story

Left on her own while her grandmother is away, cheerful Mimiko opens her home to an unusual new family: a talking baby panda and his full-grown father. What begins as a cozy domestic arrangement turns into a small-town commotion as Panny and Papa Bear upset the local routine and attract zookeepers determined to bring the escaped pair back. The story keeps its focus on Mimiko’s efforts to feed, house, and keep up with her oversized guests, even as everyday chores spiral into chaos. Kazuko Sugiyama and Kazuo Kumakura are among the voices guiding the film’s playful, child-centered world.
