About Schmidt
ComedyDrama125 min
Warren Schmidt has just retired when his life abruptly empties out, leaving him alone with a house full of routines and no clear sense of who he is anymore. As he tries to make himself useful, he fixates on his strained relationship with his adult daughter and her plan to marry a man he deeply distrusts. That worry sends him on the road in an RV, chasing one last chance to intervene before the wedding and make his opinions matter. Along the way, Jack Nicholson’s Schmidt keeps running into the gap between how he sees himself and how little control he actually has over the people around him.
