The Way

ActionAdventureComedyDrama128 min

After his estranged son dies while hiking the Camino de Santiago in the Pyrenees, Martin Sheen is Tom, a father who flies to France to claim the remains and decides to walk the route himself. Following the path his son set out to complete, Tom crosses from France into Spain on a pilgrimage that begins as private mourning. Along the way he falls in with other travelers, with Deborah Kara Unger and James Nesbitt among the faces he meets, and the journey gradually opens into something larger than a solitary trek.
