Robot Ninja
ActionAdventureDramaFantasyHorrorSci-Fi82 min
A comic-book artist finds his violent alter ego made flesh when a scientist helps him become the metal-masked superhero he created on the page. Michael Todd is the artist at the center of the transformation, while Bogdan Pecic’s scientist turns sketchbook fantasy into a vigilante crusade. As Robot Ninja, he goes after a gang of rapists, pushing the film from DIY superhero origin story into splatter-heavy revenge horror. Burt Ward and Linnea Quigley appear in supporting roles in this 1989 cult item, which mixes comic-book imagery, homemade sci-fi effects, and low-budget grindhouse brutality.
