Adventures of a Private Eye
ComedyCrime96 min
When his boss goes on holiday, rookie investigator Bob West (Christopher Neil) decides he can handle the next case on his own — despite being more eager than capable. What follows is a string of bungled clues, mistaken confidence, and increasingly awkward “private” investigations as Bob tries to act like a seasoned sleuth. Suzy Kendall and Harry H. Corbett are part of the chaos around him in this 1977 British comedy, where detective-movie business collides with broad farce and plenty of cheeky innuendo.
