Bride & Prejudice
ComedyDramaMusicalRomance112 min
In modern India, spirited Lalita Bakshi meets wealthy American hotel heir Will Darcy at a wedding and dislikes him on sight. Their attraction keeps colliding with class assumptions, cultural misunderstandings, and the opinions of a family determined to marry off four daughters. As one sister falls for Darcy’s friend and another draws trouble from a charming soldier, weddings, proposals, and public embarrassments keep raising the stakes. Aishwarya Rai and Martin Henderson lead a story that turns Jane Austen’s courtship battles into a globe-hopping musical, where romance has to survive pride, prejudice, and the pressure of family expectation.
