Troll Hunter
DocumentaryDramaFantasyHorrorThriller104 min
When a group of Norwegian students starts looking into a string of suspicious bear killings, their footage leads them to a taciturn man roaming the forests with a battered truck and a set of rules no one will explain. Otto Jespersen is the hunter they begin following, while Glenn Erland Tosterud is one of the filmmakers who keeps the camera rolling as the investigation widens into a government cover-up. Shot as a found-footage mockumentary, the film moves through dark woods, mountain passes, and caves, treating Norwegian folklore not as legend but as classified fieldwork.
