Sidney Flanigan is Autumn, a quiet teenager trying to navigate adults, money, and unfamiliar systems; beside her, Talia Ryder's Skylar shares the bus rides, waiting rooms, and street-level uncertainty of the trip. The film stays close to the girls as they move through a city that is both anonymous and difficult to manage, with Sharon Van Etten and Ryan Eggold appearing in the small but consequential roles around them.
