Logan
ActionAdventureDramaSci-FiThrillerWestern137 min
In the near future, Hugh Jackman is a worn-down Logan, living off the grid near the Mexican border while caring for Patrick Stewart’s ailing Professor X. Their attempt to stay hidden collapses when a young mutant named Laura (Dafne Keen) turns up on the run, drawing armed pursuers to their doorstep. Forced back into motion, Logan has to protect the girl while contending with his failing body, Charles’s unstable condition, and a past he has tried to leave behind. James Mangold frames the X-Men world as a dusty borderland of remote hideouts, roadside stops, and sudden bursts of violence.
