When a sudden global event wipes out electronics and leaves humanity unable to sleep, ex-soldier Jill scrambles to keep her family alive as exhaustion turns streets, hospitals, and shelters into chaos. Gina Rodriguez is Jill, carrying a troubled past and watching her grip on reality fray with every sleepless hour. When it becomes clear that her daughter (Ariana Greenblatt) may be immune, Jill has one chance to get the girl to people who might turn that immunity into a cure before the world — and Jill herself — gives out.
