Don't Look Up
ComedyDramaSci-Fi145 min
Astronomy grad student Kate Dibiasky discovers a comet on a direct collision course with Earth, and the effort to warn the world turns into a tour through cable news, polling, and political theater. Jennifer Lawrence's Kate teams with Leonardo DiCaprio as her professor, Dr. Randall Mindy, taking their findings from university offices to a White House more concerned with optics than extinction. Adam McKay frames the crisis as a satire of media spin, celebrity culture, and public denial, with the impending disaster treated less like a scientific fact than an inconvenient headline.
