The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story
ActionAdventureFamily77 min
Told from Mowgli’s point of view, this take on The Jungle Book follows a boy raised in the wild as he grows from “mancub” to young man, held between the jungle that shaped him and the human world beyond it. Brandon Baker is Mowgli, carrying the story through his friendship with Baloo and his running conflict with the fearsome tiger Shere Khan. Voice work from Eartha Kitt and Brian Doyle-Murray helps fill out the animal world around him, while the film keeps its focus on Mowgli’s memories, his shifting identity, and the dangers moving through the forest.
