Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach
ComedyCrime90 min
George Gaynes is Commandant Lassard, headed to Miami Beach to receive a lifetime award before retirement when a luggage mix-up leaves him unknowingly carrying stolen diamonds from a jewel heist. That sends the Police Academy regulars out of parade uniforms and into pursuit, with Bubba Smith and Michael Winslow among the officers scrambling through hotels, convention halls, and the beach. What starts as a formal tribute turns into a tangle of missing bags, confused criminals, and the squad’s usual slapstick disorder.
