Always Be My Maybe
ComedyRomance102 min
When famous chef Sasha returns to San Francisco to open a restaurant, she reconnects with Marcus, the childhood friend and teenage almost-romance she hasn’t seen in 15 years. Ali Wong is Sasha, polished and high-profile now, while Randall Park’s Marcus has stayed close to home, making music and moving through the same old neighborhood. Their easy shorthand snaps back quickly, but Sasha’s public life and Marcus’s attachment to his routines leave them trying to close the gap between who they were and the very different adults they’ve become. Michelle Buteau, Vivian Bang, and Keanu Reeves add to the chaos around them.
