The Ghost Writer
CrimeDramaMysteryThriller128 min
After the previous assistant dies in a mysterious accident, a professional ghostwriter is hired to finish the memoirs of former British prime minister Adam Lang at his isolated compound on a Massachusetts island. Ewan McGregor is the writer, brought in to shape a public legacy that starts to look far less straightforward once he begins sorting through notes, drafts, and gaps in the story. Pierce Brosnan’s Lang is polished and guarded, and the work of assembling the book pulls the new hire toward buried secrets tied to the politician’s past and the death that opened the job.
