CrimeDramaThriller147 min
After a prank sends four boys from Hell’s Kitchen to a reform school, abuse at the hands of a guard leaves a mark that follows them into adulthood. Years later, when two of the friends run into that same man and a killing lands in court, the case becomes a way to surface what happened behind the walls of the Wilkinson School for Boys. Kevin Bacon is the ex-guard at the center of the reckoning, while Jason Patric’s Shakes looks back on the group’s childhood and Robert De Niro’s Father Bobby tries to help from the neighborhood they never really left.
