Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond head back out for a second attempt at the “perfect” road trip, chasing great roads, Mediterranean sunshine, and a rotating lineup of fast cars while trying not to repeat the disasters of their last try. Clarkson and Hammond turn the trip into a rolling argument about what makes a drive worth taking, with scenic routes giving way to daft challenges, staged stunts, and the usual bouts of inconvenience. Along the way, the special hops between postcard views and automotive excess, including a strangely literal car race on the island of Capri.
