Over the course of a single day, the film follows the sun across the planet, moving from high mountains and remote islands to thick jungle as animals feed, hunt, hide, and look after their young. Jackie Chan's narration guides the English-language version through a chain of habitats linked by daylight, with the camera staying close to creatures in flight, in the water, and on the forest floor. Rather than focusing on one region, it builds its shape around the planet’s daily rhythm, using intimate wildlife footage to connect places that are far apart but unfolding at the same moment.
