The Goldfinch
CrimeDramaMystery149 min
After a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art kills his mother, Theodore Decker is taken in by a wealthy New York family and leaves the chaos with a famous painting in his possession. Oakes Fegley is Theo as a boy trying to hold on to the last day he shared with her; Ansel Elgort carries the character into adulthood, when that split-second theft still shapes his life. What begins as a private secret becomes a lasting connection to loss, guilt, and an art-world undercurrent where money and crime keep pressing closer.
