Richard Jewell

CrimeDocumentaryDrama132 min

After he spots a bomb at Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park during the 1996 Summer Olympics, security guard Richard Jewell is hailed for helping save lives before becoming the FBI's prime suspect. Paul Walter Hauser is Jewell, an ordinary man suddenly trapped between investigators, leaks, and wall-to-wall media coverage. As the case tightens around him, he turns to Sam Rockwell's Watson Bryant, the attorney fighting to clear his name while trying to keep his client from trusting the people building the case against him. Directed by Clint Eastwood, the film follows the bombing's aftermath through interrogations, headlines, and a rapidly shrinking private life.
