The Horse Whisperer
ActionAdventureDramaFamilyRomanceWestern170 min
After a riding accident leaves her teenage daughter traumatized and their horse badly injured, New York magazine editor Annie MacLean heads to a Montana ranch in search of help. Kristin Scott Thomas's Annie turns to Tom Booker, a quiet trainer with an unusual gift for working with wounded animals. Robert Redford is Booker, whose patient approach begins to reach Grace (Scarlett Johansson), still struggling with the aftermath of the accident. Split between Manhattan life and the wide-open rhythms of the ranch, the story follows a family in crisis as recovery, distance, and new attachments begin to shift their lives.
