Redemption
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller100 min
Back from Afghanistan and hiding from a military court martial, Jason Statham is Joseph Smith, a former special forces soldier sleeping rough in London until a chance to take over another man's identity pulls him off the street and into the city's criminal underworld. As Joseph trades homelessness for a gangster's errands and debts, his connection with Agata Buzek's Sister Cristina, a nun working with the poor, opens a quieter strand alongside the violence. When the murder of someone close to him points Joseph toward revenge, the film follows his uneasy double life through London's back rooms, alleys, and temporary shelters.
