Ichiko and Eri are Japanese university students whose relationship is tested and reframed when Ichiko decides to come out to her father. Instead of the confrontation she expects, he tells her that he is also gay — and that her mother was a lesbian — turning a private confession into a wider family revelation. With Rei Yoshii and Asami Imajuku at the center, Love My Life follows a young couple as romance, identity, and family history start colliding. The story stays close to Ichiko as she navigates love on campus and a home life suddenly filled with new truths.
