ActionAdventureFantasy102 min
After losing the contest that will send a chosen fighter to claim the Book of All Knowledge from the wizard Zetan, Cord refuses to step aside. Jeff Cooper's young martial artist crosses a mystical desert kingdom without a sponsor, breaking the rules and facing a succession of challengers as he hunts for the book on his own. Along the way, David Carradine is the blind wanderer Ah Sahm, whose guidance keeps nudging the quest away from brute force and toward self-knowledge. Sorcery and martial-arts combat shape the film’s stripped-down fantasy world.
