Be My Slave
ComedyDramaRomance96 min
At a Japanese publishing company, Mitsu Dan is Kana, an employee whose affair with a younger colleague (Hiroaki Mayama) shifts when he discovers that her desires are bound up with sadomasochism and a shadowy man she calls Sensei. What begins as a secret workplace relationship becomes a tense negotiation of control, submission, and trust, as Kana draws him further into a private world he doesn’t fully understand. The film keeps its focus on the changing power between them and on how Sensei’s presence hovers over every step of the relationship.
