Haunted by a previous operation that cost an informant dearly, Hong Kong criminal intelligence inspector Don Lee is ordered to do it again when a violent gangster starts planning a jewelry heist. Nick Cheung is Don, wary but pushed into recruiting Ghost, an ex-con and gifted driver whose debts and family trouble leave him little room to refuse. As Nicholas Tse’s Ghost works his way into the crew and draws the attention of the boss’s girlfriend Dee, the case tightens around both cop and informant, turning every exchange of information into another step deeper inside the gang.
