Cannibal Holocaust

ActionAdventureHorror96 min

Robert Kerman is Harold Monroe, a New York University professor who returns from the Amazon rainforest with the footage of a documentary crew that vanished while filming local tribes. As Monroe screens what they shot, the story moves between his rescue mission and the images left behind, with Francesca Ciardi among the faces on those reels. Built around a film-within-a-film structure, it uses the jungle setting, handheld footage, and the crew’s own camera to turn a missing-person investigation into something far harsher and more confrontational.
