When his wife abruptly leaves their family and asks for a divorce, Sam Neill’s increasingly frantic husband begins following her, certain another man is involved. In Germany, what starts as jealous surveillance turns into something far stranger as Isabelle Adjani’s wife slips into violent, secretive behavior and a trail of bizarre encounters, police scrutiny, and bloodshed. Their apartment and anonymous streets become the backdrop for adultery, obsession, and eruptions of gore that push the story from domestic warfare toward the supernatural.
