The Trip
Comedy115 min
A weekend at a remote lakeside cabin becomes a murder plot in stereo when Lisa (Noomi Rapace) and her husband, Lars (Aksel Hennie), each arrive intending to kill the other. Their marriage has curdled into resentment: Lars is stuck directing soap operas, Lisa’s acting career has stalled, and the “reconnection” trip is cover for separate plans to get rid of each other for good. Before either can make a move, unexpected visitors crash the cabin and turn their private scheme into a scramble for survival. What starts as a marital face-off twists into a bloody Norwegian farce with no one in control for long.
