Dark City
FantasyMysterySci-FiThriller101 min
John Murdoch (Rufus Sewell) wakes in a strange hotel with no memory, a series of killings tied to his name, and a city where the sun never rises. As he tries to piece together his past and his connection to his estranged wife Emma, Jennifer Connelly's Emma keeps surfacing in memories that may have been planted. A hard-eyed inspector (William Hurt) is on his trail, while pale figures known as the Strangers move through the night with the power to alter minds and remake the city itself. Alex Proyas folds noir, retro-futurist design, and science fiction into a fugitive mystery built around amnesia and false memory.
