Blind since childhood, Jaipur artisan Durga helps her family make clay idols for a living until an accident brings a young rescuer into her life. Ameesha Patel is the film’s center as Durga falls in love, then faces a devastating loss before surgery restores her sight. In Switzerland, another suitor enters the picture, with Bobby Deol and Arjun Rampal circling a romance marked by grief, memory, and violence. Moving from Jaipur’s statue workshops to an Alpine setting, the story threads melodrama and suspense through Durga’s changing sense of love and dependence.
