Seong Gi-hun is broke, in debt, and out of options when he accepts an invitation to a secret competition promising a fortune. Inside, he joins 455 other desperate players, all drawn by the same ₩45.6 billion prize and all trapped in a closed world built around familiar Korean children's games. The rules are simple, but losing means death. As each round cuts down the field, alliances form, trust collapses, and every decision becomes a fight between survival and conscience. Lee Jung-jae leads the series as Gi-hun, a man forced to keep playing even as the contest reveals how far its organizers and contestants will go for money.
