As people across the city begin turning into violent monsters, a withdrawn teenager becomes trapped inside his run-down apartment building with a floorful of frightened neighbors. Cut off from the outside world, the residents barricade hallways, ration supplies, and make uneasy alliances as each new encounter tests who can still be trusted. The danger is not only outside their doors: anyone could change without warning, and survival starts to depend on choices that grow harsher by the hour. Song Kang leads the siege from inside the building, where fear, guilt, and desperation turn one block of apartments into a battleground.
