Five doctors head into the remote woods of Northern Ontario for a camping trip that turns threatening when their boots disappear overnight and it becomes clear someone is following them. Among the men are Hal Holbrook and Lawrence Dane, part of an increasingly strained group trying to get back to safety with one pair of shoes left between them. As they push deeper through forest, river, and rough country, the campsite starts yielding uglier signs that this is no prank and that whoever is out there knows the terrain better than they do.
