Windtalkers

ActionAdventureDramaWar134 min

During World War II, Marine Joe Enders is assigned to protect one of the Navajo code talkers whose language the U.S. military uses to send messages Japanese forces can’t break. Nicolas Cage is Enders, sent into Pacific combat alongside Navajo soldiers including Adam Beach, as the mission turns on secrecy, survival, and the pressure of keeping the code intact. Directed by John Woo, the film centers on the battlefield role of Navajo Marines while following the uneasy bond between the man ordered to guard the code and the men whose voices have become a military asset.
